Help with guinea pig and her igloo?

when she is bored she chews on the little indents on the top of her igloo. the noise is really annoying but i can live with it... it's just when she does it it pushes the igloo and she often gets herself stuck in the igloo for a while when i am at school. is that normal and how do i get her to stop?
